Hey there! I am Robin Busio. 

Ever since the age of 14 I have been crazy about sneakers. Back then, when I wasn’t earning any money myself, my parents took me to the Footlocker to buy a new pair of sneakers. Every six months they did. However, unlike my friends I did not wear and tear them on the football field next to school the day after. No, when I got a pair of all white Adidas NMD’s, I wanted to keep them fresh and pristine. I just found them too beautiful. This was a problem.. and honestly, it still is. You would never believe how white those same NMD’s still are..!

Luckily I started to earn an income myself to fuel this addiction. Because, the more sneakers you have, the longer they will stay in good condition. I started buying.. a lot. In addition I was fascinated about, not only the way they look, but also about the stories behind the items. 

Around 4 years ago I decided to create an instagram account to showcase my collection. Weirdly enough, my collection eventually ran out. More weeks than sneakers to post. So I decided to start posting followers’ sneaker pictures. This has resulted in a great online experience where I got to meet so many of you. I love being in personal touch with fellow members of the sneaker-community!

In 2022 Thijs and I decided to connect a buy-and-sell-platform to the existing community-instagram account. But what do we (want to) offer that other sneaker sellers are possibly lacking? This is where the foundation of the concept of FLIPPR was laid. A long journey has led us here.

I view sneakers as luxury items. Hundreds, if not thousands of euro’s. With that should come, in my opinion, a degree of personal service, trust and reliability. I was missing this myself as a consumer. So I wanted to take matters into my own hands.

My focus is on building personal, long-term relationships. Due to my activity in the sneaker ‘world’ my network is big. I try to connect the right pairs, from the right sellers, to the right buyers. Giving pre-loved sneakers a new caring home is what it’s about for me. See it as a personal assistant, a broker/agent for the most exclusive sneakers. I, and we,  want to be your partner in c̶r̶i̶m̶e̶ sneakers.

During my studies in marketing management, I first stepped into the amazing world of sneakers. For me, sneakers became the key element that truly made an outfit. I always struggled to find the right sneakers for myself, endlessly searching online or in stores, but success was almost elusive.

As I approached graduation, my interest in entrepreneurship began to grow. The only question was: what should I do? That’s when I had a conversation with Robin, who was helping my brother find a sneaker. He shared his journey of building his impressive collection, and things quickly fell into place. We realized together that we could help as many people as possible find their favorite sneakers, so they wouldn’t have to spend hours, days, or even longer searching for them, just as I had.

What truly sets us apart is the personal service we provide. We understand that everyone has different needs and preferences when it comes to sneakers. That's why we aim to keep our communication as personal as possible, allowing us to quickly and easily offer our customers sneakers at a great price.

Hi there! My name is Douwe Kramer. My passion for sneakers started with the “Nike Air Jordan 1 High”. I love everything about them. The perfect sneaker!

However, as the time went by and I started to learn about sneakers, I started to form a special connection with the Air Jordan 4 as well. Great shoes which Unfortunately couldn’t afford back in the day. Back then I started with buying used sneakers from allover. Hustling. 

The FLIPPING never got boring to me. Since then I have been actively buying and selling sneakers. So, when Thijs en Robin reached out and I could work for FLIPPR, doing what I love most, I of course could not resist. Going more professional has since motivated me to do a lot of research. I make sure to always be aware of the latest trends and shifts in demand. I value knowledge and I value what I do. That is why I put my heart on the line for every deal. Hello Tommy here!

After an extensive search for my first pair of Nikes, my interest in trainers began to grow more and more. This quest was where my love for the world of collecting sneakers began. My first sneaker was a Dunk High SB. A shoe that my father bought for me. This was the first step towards my venture into the trainer world. Since then, I have become more immersed into everything that has to do with Nike footwear, especially the infamous Dunk model.

My love for sneakers got noticed by team FLIPPR and fortunately they offered me to assist in the sales processes. These days, I am responsible for the Dunk and Dunk SB department at the company. I make sure to do all the necessary reading to always bring my A-game. I am an experienced authenticator and know the dunk market to a tee. At FLIPPR, it's all about exclusive service. Of course, I'm hoping to embody that mission. I focus extra on making sure the customer is going to get the best experience and service ever when buying a pair of new sneakers. It is all about the details. The small touches that create a true experience for a cliënt. In addition to the service being high-quality and extensive, it is also important to be efficient. I stress the importance of flawless and streamlined processes internally. This focus results in always-adapting service. The best in the game if i may say so myself.
